What to expect from this retreat?
A 5-day immersion designed to help you move from feeling overstimulated and mentally “on” all the time… to feeling calm, clear, energised, and back in your body.
You hold a lot of responsibility and expectations.
You show up for your work. Your partner. Your family. Your friends.
You’ve created a beautiful life in many ways.
But underneath it all, you feel tired.
Most mornings, your mind starts racing before your feet touch the floor.
You check your phone automatically.
You hold your breath without realising.
Your shoulders stay tight. Your jaw clenches.
And you’ve learned to function like this.
During this retreat, we interrupt that pattern.
Through yoga, somatic practices, breathwork, surf, nature, and practical workshops on nervous system regulation and gut health, you’ll begin to understand:
• How your stress response actually works
• What pushes you into overdrive
• The tools that help you regulate when life feels overwhelming
• How to reconnect with your body — and recognise the signals that guide you toward a more balanced life
This isn’t abstract theory.
You’ll leave with tools you can use immediately:
• So you know what to do when you wake up with your mind racing
• How to regulate yourself when you feel overwhelmed — instead of snapping at your partner
• How to sustain energy throughout the day without relying on adrenaline or caffeine
• How to move through your day without feeling like you’re constantly in a race
This retreat doesn’t remove your responsibilities.
It changes how your perceive them, and allows you to feel calm and capable in your daily life.
And that changes how you show up everywhere — at work, at home, in your relationships, and most importantly, with yourself.

Where will you stay?
Your home for 5 days is Essencia Nature Retreat, located in Aljezur, Portugal.
Surrounded by a quiet valley, oak forest, and permaculture gardens, the space invites you to slow down and reconnect. You can walk the forest trails, journal under the trees, enjoy the sauna and hot tub under the stars, or take a refreshing swim in the natural pond in the afternoon.
The beautiful wooden yoga shala overlooks the forest and offers an inspiring space for our daily practices.
We’ll have the farmhouse exclusively for our retreat group, with a beautiful living room to gather and connect, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fireplace to keep us warm in the evenings. Each room has a private bathroom and access to the terrace.
